Why mix coal ovals and hardwood logs together?

Can I safely use this fuel mix inside my indoor stove?
If you are running a multi-fuel stove equipped with an internal metal bottom grate and underlying ashpan, this is the absolute ideal setup. However, if you have a dedicated wood-only burner with a solid flat brick firebed, coal cannot draw air from below and will choke. For those systems, we recommend sticking exclusively to our Wood-Burner Purist bundles.
What is the correct way to store this combined bundle?
Coal is robust and best kept inside an outdoor bunker or stacked in a dry corner of your shed. Kiln-dried logs are more porous and must be kept completely under cover in a well-ventilated log store. Both products will arrive cleanly packed in individual, separate bags, making it very easy to store them apart.
